Chocolate is many people’s favorite sweet, I’m sure you don’t know many people who don’t like it. However, it’s not the healthiest option as industrial made chocolate doesn’t contain much natural cacao, but rather large amounts of refined sugars. When we go to the grocery store, it’s better to buy chocolate that has the highest amount of natural cacao available (between 70-90%). It’s important to remember though, that there is always some amount of added sugar and preservatives.
In order to keep eating chocolate, and maintain a healthy diet, this sugar free Paleo-style Chocolate is perfect. It has natural sweeteners like raw honey or coconut sugar, and contains a high percentage of pure cacao. Additionally, it can be given a very crunchy texture by throwing in some nuts or seeds like the ones I used in the video.
- 1/2 cup cocoa butter
- 1/2 cup powdered pure cacao
- 1/2 cup sweetener raw honey or coconut sugar
- 1/3 cup pumpkin seeds, pistachos, almonds…
- Salt flakes

Melt the different ingredients for the chocolate and spread it out on a baking sheet.
Then add the nuts or seeds in and stick it in the freezer! Watch the video for step by step instructions.
